AWWS Mission Statement
This site is dedicated to all those who value the viewscapes of southern Alberta. The mountains, foothills, grasslands and skies have inspired film, sculpture, painting, poetry, song and dance.
We hope to connect people who value wilderness and desire to celebrate it by creative expression through various art forms. We will spotlight environmentally sensitive areas through art events that connect and engage like-minded people who love our wild lands for reasons of aesthetics and intrinsic value of wild spaces.
